Plasper obtains the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for its recycled PVC compounds

Plasper has obtained the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for its recycled PVC compounds, becoming the first compounder to register this certification for this type of material.
The EPD is an international certification based on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), providing quantified, objective, and third-party verified environmental data. It includes key indicators such as Global Warming Potential (GWP), Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP), and Primary Energy Use, among many others.
What does having an EPD mean?
- Maximum transparency about the environmental impact of our products
- Independently verified data for well-informed decision-making
- Support for companies aiming to reduce their carbon footprint
This milestone is part of Plasper’s sustainability strategy, which has also been recognized with the EcoVadis silver medal, placing the company among the top 15% of highest-rated companies in environmental management.
Plasper thus positions itself as a benchmark in the industry, not only for its products but also for its commitment to a more sustainable plastics sector.
